We're very happy to welcome our new Professional Ecologist, Tamsyn Bridger. A few words from her:

Hello everyone,

I’m Tamsyn, the new Professional Ecologist at Tor Ecology. I recently swapped a life in Cambridge for beautiful Devon, primarily to be closer to family but also for the hills and sea (both of which are hard to come by in the landlocked Cambridgeshire flatlands!).

I have been working in ecological consultancy for four years now, and in that time have developed a wide range of protected species survey skills and an interest in botany. I also bring with me a wealth of project management experience which I will be putting into practice, taking on some of Tor Ecology’s current projects.

I’m really eager to get stuck into the upcoming survey season – lots of Devon ‘firsts’ for me to tick off over the coming months: Greater Horseshoe Bats, Hazel Dormouse and Cirl Bunting!

I’m thoroughly looking forward to the new journey ahead with Jenni and Tor Ecology, with lots of exiting projects in the pipeline. We’ll keep you updated on this page as the business continues to grow and develop.
