Our Mission

Burton Reid Associates are an ecological consultancy specialising in provision of high-quality ecological services, including biodiversity net gains, protected species surveys, ecological report writing and ecology related planning advice.

We can help you to navigate biodiversity net gains, including completion of the Defra Metric, advise on delivery of ecological matters at a local and strategic level and can support you to deliver on and off-site mitigation.

We have specialist experience in producing the supporting documentation to undertake ecological Habitat Regulations Assessments and are able to assist s Expert Witness at Public Inquiry. We work alongside our clients to provide a professional and seamless service that coordinates with other disciplines and ensures all ecological obligations are understood and achieved.
